After more than a decade as the head of Eugene School District 4J, Superintendent George Russell will step down by the end of the 2010–11 school year.

Russel, recognized as Oregon’s Superintendent of the Year in 2005, shared some of his thoughts on the funding crisis facing Eugene schools during an interview with KVAL News.
